AssalamuAlaikum,
Our Surau has recently invited Sheikh Abdullah to give a talk on Hijrah.
SubhanaAllah, what's so amazing, he's a voung talented Arabic Mesir, around 30yrs., and can talk fluent Bahasa Melayu, guess what ... a very pekat Kelantanese dialect. Even I could hardly grasped some of the words! By the way, he can also speak good English, French, and of course Arabic. Just wanna share his advice and his To Guru's advice -
a. our income / salary may not be 100% suci / halal, since we might have used our working time doing things not related to work, or even coming in late/ going out earlier (without compensating the time back), which my father's first advice to me 'Beware of RASUAH MASA' when I first started working.
b. everyday we have to muhasabah diri and see whether we have used the nikmat MASA (time), in doing TAAT to Him, or doing MAKSIAT (ingkar) to Him.
